I connect academia, research and the IT business. For over 30 years I have been teaching, researching and implementing IT solutions for companies and public administration.
I am a Professor at Jan Wyżykowski University in Polkowice, Poland, and the Rector’s Representative for International Cooperation and Erasmus+. I am also a Professor and the Rector’s Representative for International Cooperation at WSG University in Bydgoszcz. I work with universities in India, Romania, Bulgaria, the UAE and Nigeria. From 2009 to 2012 I was Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences at UZZM in Lubin.
Since 1990 I have run CompExpert, a company providing comprehensive IT services to schools, public offices and SMEs. I am a certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor (TÜV NORD) and a certified Data Protection Officer.
In numbers: 190+ publications (65+ indexed in Web of Science, Scopus and IEEE), 30+ co-edited volumes with Springer, CRC Press, Wiley and IGI Global, 1,250+ citations on Google Scholar (h-index 17) and 500+ on Scopus (h-index 12). I have given 85+ invited talks, including keynotes in London, Malta, Dubai and India. I have supervised 140+ theses and reviewed doctoral dissertations at Indian universities. I led the Erasmus+ projects DIMBI and Web-GIoT (over EUR 210,000 in total).
