During the visit I met the Rector, Prof. Turgay Uzun, together with the Rector’s advisor for international cooperation, Prof. Ceyhun Yükselir. We discussed how to develop academic cooperation between our universities, joint Erasmus+ projects and the exchange of students and staff, with particular attention to short-term student internships.
An important part of the visit was my lecture on modern IT systems in logistics.
Together with Prof. Göksel Coşkun I also visited Bahçe, where we met representatives of the district and municipal authorities, including the Mayor of Bahçe, Aziz Kayabaşı, and Zeynel Mete Kadıoğlu, as well as the director of the local vocational school (MYO), Assoc. Prof. Fatih Çağatay Baz.
Special thanks go to Prof. Göksel Coşkun, whose work for the Erasmus+ programme is truly first-class.
